Aug 29, Back Home Again

Work has changed so that I may be home on a daily (and/or nightly) basis, and most weekends free, which means more time to devote to the web site. Time is still limited, but at least I should be able to put in a little time on a regular basis from now on.

Still have entirely too large a backlog of questions and input from all of you to properly address in any reasonable timeframe. First priority is to get the work that has been standing still for so long completed. To that end, the 1962 Latin Mass page is now completed, and work has resumed on the Byzantine 4th Crusade Page. When that is completed, I hope to go over the whole site doing some overdue modifications and corrections to situations that have cropped up over time, such as broken links and so forth.

Then, as I see it now, I will start a page of Arguments, Pro and Con, whereby I hope to respond in one place the sum of the most outstanding questions, suggestions and criticisms that have collected while I've been gone over-the-road. It will contain links to separate new pages that will lay out the arguments (positions or contentions) under girding the Thinking Catholic Strategic Center.

Once that is done, I hope to begin responding more directly to current questions, suggestions and criticisms from you. and trying to keep up with them. I'm sorry, but the backlog is just to huge and seemingly impossible to attend to with my still limited time. I hope you will forgive me if your input has not been addressed. Please give me a little more time, watch the "Arguments Pro and Con" once they start up, see if your entry has been responded to, and then, if not, just resend it. Thank you for your patience, I hope it will continue, knowing that the Lord only gave me two hands and a specific number of hours in each day.

May He bless you, and may you please Him, and may we all do His will to the best of our abilities.

Jan 28, Still Too Busy, and Too Little Time at Home

Sorry, but I'm only home on average one day per week, and I have a house to take care of, Liturgy to attend, family matters and relationships, and just not enough time to devote to this website, a major love of mine. Have been receiving hundreds of comments and emails and just can't get to them all in the one home day I have per week. Don't want to beat up the laptop by dragging it around with me when there's no guarantee that there will be a hotspot or connectivity wherever I am anyway, or that I will have time to put it to good use.

In partial answer to some of your questions, I tried to kill many birds with one stone (or two) with the last two essays published herein; you should see them directly below this post. I just can't get to you all individually right now. Hopefully that might change in the future, but right now, I hope I've responded to at least a large number of you with these two entries.

No real time to do the time-consuming research and entry needed for the Latin Mass page and the 4th Crusade page in work. The only reason I could do the other two web pages is that it was right off the top of my head, and I can type pretty fast. Researching to get it right takes a lot longer.

Please bear with me; it won't be forever.

God bless,

Dec 23, Back In Town Weekly

I'm Home for Christmas.

As many of you have noted, I have been out of town more or less continuously for some time now. A new change involves my being home approximately weekly, when I may or may not have an opportunity to update the site with new pages or continue progress on pages-in-work. Meaning, currently, the Latin-Mass page and the 4th Crusade page, as well as any blog entries or responses that might be called for. So, getting somewhat active again on the site; stay tuned.

Also, in the more distant future, there may be an opportunity for me to continue my driving but on a daily basis, meaning, being home every night and every weekend. Almost like a real person. If that happens, I will be back in site updates as regularly as before.

Thanks for your patience.

May the infinite peace of the Christ Child enter your homes and remain with you and yours throughout the New Year. I bid you a very Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, and a most Blessed New Year.

May you please God, and may you live forever.

Regards,
