The Obvious Marxism of Obama.

Vic Biorseth, Friday, June 05, 2009
http://www.Thinking-Catholic-Strategic-Center.com

The flat out Marxism of Obama is still not widely recognized by a sizable portion of the American voting public. I know some of you are tired of hearing it; nevertheless, here it is again: You show me a Marxist and I’ll show you an ends-justify-the-means liar. President Obama is, by his own repeatedly recorded words, a Marxist. As such, he is a MEJTML, as he must be; it is inherent in his very nature.

He is already in personal control of most of the “means of production” in major American industry, American finance and the American market, and he has momentum on his side. He has fired and hired CEOs of formerly private enterprises, and given marching orders to formerly private major banks, financial institutions and manufacturing industries, just as Hitler did back in the 30s. He owns them; and he intends to own it all, as soon as possible, before anyone has a chance to stop him. He has stated that he intends to fix executive salaries of all of private enterprise, including enterprises that have not received and do not want any bail-out money. He simply intends to control them, too.

The lies continue, and grow. The oldest and most repeated one, which still gets a lot of mileage and heavy usage, is how he “inherited” all his problems from the former Bush administration. If you remember the first giant, humongous “emergency” bail out under the lame-duck President Bush, you saw candidates Obama and McCain, among others, seated at the table with Bush, and unanimously agreeing to the perceived need to proceed with that particular chunk of panic-stricken shear economic stupidity. Obama may have been the only one at the table who was not stupid, but who saw in the panic and the perceived crisis a golden opportunity for the destruction of Capitalism and the advancement of Socialism.

They all gritted their teeth and looked grim for the cameras, and signed off on it.

Since then, whatever bad economic news comes about, Obama can’t really help it, because he inherited such a disaster from Bush. But he’s doing the best he can, and his heart is in the right place. See? He just needs more time. It’s all a lie. His real goal is the death of the free market, collectivization and redistribution, and supreme personal power.

I’ve lost track of how many times we’ve heard the falsehood that some large American entity was “too big to fail” and that only government could supply the “solution” to keep it alive. Every one of the bail-outs and stimulus efforts failed, as was easily predicted. Every one of the bill-justifying statements was another lie. Remember when he told us that, for GM, bankruptcy was simply “not an option”? Now that yet another huge bail-out has passed, bankruptcy is the only option. It was just another flagrant categorical lie, wasn’t it.

And note well that it isn’t any bankruptcy court or judge overseeing the reorganization(s); it is Obama, personally, directing the reorganization of both Chrysler and GM. He said he had no interest in directing the auto industry; then, practically in the same sentence, he said “except for the most fundamental decisions,” which means that he is making the most important decisions. In other words, he is, in fact, managing the auto industry. My fear is that so many Americans might not even recognize that lie because it was so smoothly delivered.

He despises our Constitution, which he solemnly swore – falsely – to protect. His oath of office was a lie.

In a Jan18, 2001 radio interview, Obama began by saying that past Civil Rights court cases brought both victories and failures. Where it succeeded, he said,

“was to invest formal rights in previously dispossessed peoples. So that I would now have the right to vote, I would now be able to sit at a lunch counter and order, and as long as I could pay for it, I’d be OK.

“I think one of the tragedies of the civil rights movement was because the civil rights movement became so court-focused, I think that there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing, and activities on the ground, that are able to put together the actual coalitions of power throughout which you bring about redistributive change. And in some ways, we still suffer from that.”

So what he is about is Communist redistributive change rather than protecting the American Constitution, which, of course, is not Communist. In another radio interview on Sept 6, 2001, the moderator asked Obama about his thoughts on the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

Obama:

”I – I – I think it’s a remarkable document.”

Moderator:

Which one?

Obama:

“The original Constitution as well as the Civil War Amendments,” he replied. “But I think it is an imperfect document, and I think it is a document that reflects some deep flaws in American culture, the Colonial culture nascent at that time.

“African-Americans were not -- first of all they weren’t African-Americans -- the Africans at the time were not considered as part of the polity that was of concern to the Framers. I think that as Richard said it was a ‘nagging problem’ in the same way that these days we might think of environmental issues, or some other problem where you have to balance cost-benefits, as opposed to seeing it as a moral problem involving persons of moral worth.

“And in that sense, I think we can say that the Constitution reflected an enormous blind spot in this culture that carries on until this day, and that the Framers had that same blind spot. I don’t think the two views are contradictory, to say that it was a remarkable political document that paved the way for where we are now, and to say that it also reflected the fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day.”

So, Obama sees a “fundamental flaw” in our Constitution and in our country that continues to this day. His Marxist-dominated advanced education left him with a handicap in knowing real American history. Despite his statement to the contrary, it was exactly and precisely a moral issue that drove debate in the nations formative years, and that culminated in our Civil War. As previously discussed in the Racial Victimology page, first, a passage condemning slavery was narrowly deleted from the Declaration of Independence. Second, in the 1787 Constitutional Convention, Article IV Section 2 had a “slavery clause” added to keep the southern planters from walking out and thus destroying the very concept of the United States of America. The nation might have died right there.

He lied; it was the moral issue that drove the debate. It was the continuing immorality of slavery that eventually brought about the Civil War, and the Constitutional Amendments ending slavery. The Civil War was started by white men, and fought against other white men. Brother against brother. White men died, by the tens of thousands, solely because of the immorality of holding black men in unjust bondage. Either Slavery had to end, or, the Judao-Christian Ethos of America had to end; one or the other. It was, precisely, a moral issue.

What other nation, in the entire history of the world, ever fought such a bloody civil war for such an honorable reason? What other nation ever sacrificed so much and bled so severely for a mere moral principle, and to free men who were not even citizens of the nation?

Question: What “fundamental flaw” continues to this day in our Constitution and in our country?

Answer: We are not Communist yet, and whites are not sufficiently punished yet.

Obama had another radio interview on Feb 27 2001 in which he basically trashed the founding principles of America in favor of Marxism.

Interviewer:

” … And the idea that you can somehow use the due process clause for redistributing ends socially, and that it would be stable was I think an astonishing assumption in the mind of litigators about what they could accomplish over time. And it just didn’t last very long.”

Barack Obama:

“Right. And essentially it has never happened. I think if you look at the victories and failures of the civil rights movement and its litigation strategy in the court, I think where it succeeded was to vest formal rights in previously dispossessed people, so that I would now have the right to vote. I would now be able to sit at the lunch counter and order as long as I could pay for it I’d be okay.

”But the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and more basic issues such as political and economic justice in society. And to that extent, as radical as I think people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn’t that radical. It didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution, at least as it’s been interpreted. And the Warren Court interpreted in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties — says what the states can’t do to you — says what the Federal government can’t do to you — but it doesn’t say what the Federal government or State government must do on your behalf.

“And that hasn’t shifted and one of the, I think, the tragedies of the civil rights movement was because the civil rights movement became so court-focused I think there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalitions of powers through which you bring about redistributive change. In some ways we still suffer from that …

Right. Take it to the streets. To Hell with the rule of law.

Obama long ago bought into the great Communist Lie and made himself a part of it. His intent was Socialism all along.

But added to his Marxism is his barely concealed racism. We need to talk about that.

The Racism of Obama is not widely recognized, because the meaning of the term has been purposely skewed both in formal education and in the media to be an attribute that may be attached solely to members of the white race. Which is false. Whites have no copyright or patent on racism. Anyone can be a racist. The common term “reverse racist,” as in most common usage, proves the point. In simple English, the only way someone can be a reverse racist is if someone is racist against his own race. (Which some whites – mostly Democrats – are.)

Racism is generally defined as belief, and sometimes as a behavior, or as a behavior-guiding attribute. First, racism is a belief in some inherent, possibly genetic racial superiority / inferiority existing between different races. Second, racism is sometimes taken to the point of believing that one race has some inherent right to rule another race, or all other races. Third, racism is sometimes taken to the point of irrational animus toward one or more races, and programs or intent to do injury to members of the despised race(s). The last absolute Marxist dictator of a truly powerful nation, who was also a clear racist, was Adolph Hitler.

Popular government programs thought of as “Liberal” or “Progressive” but which are in fact Marxist, such as Affirmative Action and so-called Equal Opportunity programs, are in fact racist. Look again at the definition above. These programs, on the outside, as presented to the public by the Democrats, the SLIMC and Celebritwittery, as uplifting and equalizing of so-called disenfranchised races. I submit that it is not possible to give any race or class legal preferential treatment without simultaneously giving another race or class legal detrimental treatment.

Purposely and legally treating someone in a detrimental way based solely on race is, definitively, racist. You simply cannot get around that fact. Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity programs are, by their very nature, racist.

Here are some other facts that might be uncomfortable for Lefties, but they remain facts nevertheless. Obama never in his life suffered from any American racism. Most Confederate soldiers who fought in the Civil War never owned a slave. Most American whites have ancestry perfectly innocent of any American white racism. Possibly a majority of American blacks today have ancestry who were never slaves in America.

We all know the horrors that American blacks suffered at the hands of white racists, before, during and after the Civil War. That does not justify the racist animus felt in many black American hearts today toward whites who had nothing to do with any of that. It’s at the point where so-called black leadership publicly chastises black criminals for perpetrating “black-on-black” crime, implying that black-on-white crime might be more acceptable.

If anyone owes anyone else “reparations” for past injustices, then by the same idiotic logic that blacks today call for reparations from whites, whites could claim reparations from blacks for the loss of lives, relatives, income and the huge, incalculable national tragedy of a Civil War fought solely for their ancestor’s freedom from slavery and the right to vote.

None of this should be any surprise to any of you who have been following this site. I’ve been saying these things for some time now. I will put links to some of my most recent past political rants below this article to joggle your memory, or to enlighten new readers.

We are cruising straight into a Socialist state, with Obama steering the ship.

Don’t let this happen. Pray for America.

Lyman,

As a former victim of the lie(s) you speak of above I commend you for this work. It is terribly important for souls to understand this danger. In part, this is the reason why the churches of Europe are empty and generations of Catholics have lost the true faith in this country.

I know from personal experience.

It was only after 40 years of my wondering through the desert of sin, hatred of my country, God and His Church, that through divine mercy I, and my family, became Catholic together...

The tragic reality, however, was when I called my mother to tell her the happy news that we'd all be baptized, only to learn that most members of her side of the family 'were already Catholic'... Forty years...

I am well aware of the great loss of faith both within and outside the Church, as I say, personally as well as from teaching CCD.

As Notre Dame taught us, the education systems have been permeated with such error and re-evangelization is crucial as far as I'm concerned...

Your arguments might be taken more seriously if you didn’t go so far. Referring to the President as a racist, and comparing him to Hitler, is really over the top. It takes away from your credibility, and hurts the conservative cause.

Racism means belief in genetic superiority of one race over others; if you cannot show that President Obama holds this belief then you should not call him a racist.

It is true that Communist Russia, Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy were all Socialist. However, there were vast differences between them, and I wonder why you single out Hitler as the most similar to President Obama.

I think you just need to calm down a little.

Jesse:

I don’t buy that for a minute. There are lots of racists out there who don’t even know the meaning of the word genetic.

My Oxford desk dictionary and thesaurus defines racism thus:

1. Belief in the superiority of a particular race; prejudice based on this.
2. Antagonism toward other races.
I do not accept your narrow, pedantic definition of the word racism and the application of the title racist. Just about everybody in America knows what the word means and they don’t need any re-education on it.

Barack Hussien Obama, peace be upon him, has betrayed in his spoken and written words an automatic animus toward the white race. That makes him a racist, in my book, and that’s what I call him, and anyone who doesn’t like it is just going to have to get over it. I’ll let English majors quibble over the etymology and minute, nuanced meaning of words. Sir Winston Churchill once, having been publicly taken to task by some journalist over some minor grammatical error on his part, replied that the editorial criticism was “the sort of pedantry up with which I will not put.” I always thought that phrase was brilliantly said.

As for the differences between Communism, Fascism and Nazism, again, Nazi fits best. All of them, of course, being spawn of Marxist thought, are different forms of Socialism, which is to say, dictatorship. Communism is the international, or, global village variety. Nazi-Fascism is the nationalist variety.

So, what’s the difference between Fascism and Nazism? Economically and organizationally speaking, nothing whatsoever. They are identical. Both keep the captains of industry and the owners of the means of production on a tight leash.

The Nazi hatred of the Jews and others was a personal character trait of a particular dictator, and really had nothing to do with anything other than the raw power of a total dictator. Whether Hitler’s racism was the product of a neurosis, psychosis, personal idiosyncrasy, or whatever, is irrelevant. It may even have been that he used the Jews as a straw-villain scapegoat for political reasons, or a combination of reasons. It makes no difference; Hitler was a Socialist, and he was a racist.

And that makes Hitler the most comparable of the three to Obama, who is a Socialist, and a racist.

I call them as I see them, and I see Obama as a racist, and his current actions betray him as a Nazi. He already owns our largest financial institutions, two of our three automobile manufacturers, is beginning to dictate pay limits on all major private enterprise, and is about to take over the insurance and the medical industries.

What label would you put on that?

Regards,

Vic

You may feel you have reasons to be so negative toward the President, but I still feel that a certain amount of respect is due to the office itself. Disrespect for the office is shown all over your site, when the holder of the office is not in your favor. The terminology turns me off. You can say what needs to be said without insulting the office. Examples: Your use of terms such as –

  • Jiminy Carter
  • the Presidents Clinton
  • Hillary and Billary
  • referring to President Clinton as a filthy pig
  • in your response to my last submission you referred to President Obama as Barack Hussein Obama, peace be upon him,
In an obvious and disingenuous attempt to link him to Islam. My concern is that when you drag the office down in public, you drag the country down with it. You have demonstrated a sufficient command of English to be able to express your political views without stooping to this, so why do it?

Jesse

Jesse:

Each of the personages in your submission dragged “the office” down by grossly exceeding their Constitutional authority, and they each revealed their unfitness for office long before assuming office. Respect is earned, not owed. All of them opposed the guiding ethos of America, first, and most importantly, and all of them promoted evil, by law.

If Obama is not a Moslem, then what the hell is he? I have yet to see any comprehensive faith statement by him, short of his false public statement that America is the largest Moslem nation on earth.

He has unconstitutionally fired and hired CEOs of private enterprises. He has unconstitutionally broken private contracts of which he was not even a party. He has unconstitutionally expropriated stock from private investors without compensation and given some of it to his union supporters. He has unconstitutionally appointed “czars” with unlimited authority, and allowed them to make unconstitutional demands upon private enterprise, completely outside the constitutional authority and violating the constitutional constraints of government.

Now, Carter and the Clintons were and are Marxists, like Obama. But they were not as blatant about it. Obama is the first clearly anti-American President in our history, who has set himself the task of destroying America as we know it, and doing it quickly. Other writers and commentators seem to be coming around to the fact that he is a Marxist out to permanently command that part of free enterprise that he can, and destroy the rest. I’ve been saying it from the beginning.

The only question is whether he is as bloody and ruthless as was a Lenin or a Hitler. To do what he wants to do requires absolute ruthlessness. If he is not ready to shed American blood on a massive scale, then he will fail, because the American inner ethos is beginning to wake up to him.

Meanwhile, I will not give respect where it is not due.

Vic

You have not directly stated one of the biggest Marist influences on Obama: Saul Alinsky and his Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF). This is doubly important for Catholics because Catholics have and continue to fund IAF affiliates, inter alia, through the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. See, e.g. http://www.johntwo24-25.net/index.html.

Correct; however, I had previously mentioned that particular influence in the 2008 Marxist Seeds of Disaster article, and then again in the 2008 Political Crisis article, and probably some other places I can’t remember at the moment.

This Alinsky linkage is an important point, as recent history clearly shows that Obama is a near perfect disciple of Saul Alinski.

A lot of good Catholics have been and are being duped by Marxist ideology that has crept into American (and perhaps European) dioceses and archdioceses. Some of it is documented in this site in the various Cafeteria Catholic pages. Some absolute evil has been officially taught in the name of Holy Mother Church. Catholics beware.

I'm glad that you did bring a lot to light about Obama, but being the product of Native American and African American race I have seen a lot of injustices against me and others and am very thankful for equal opportunity and affirmative action that helped me provide for my family. And lets move away from blacks want reparations we know its not going to happen and we don't go through life dwelling on it.

I am not a fan of government programs aimed at so-called equal opportunity and affirmative action, as can be seen in my Arguments Pro and Con page, and more particularly in my Affirmative Action Racism page. The free market doesn’t give a whoop what color any of us are, and neither does any decent Christian or Jew.

”Reparations” for slave descendents or Indian descendents would make about as much sense today as reparations paid to modern Europeans by Indian descendents because of getting Europe hooked on tobacco. Or maybe suing the descendents of Sir Walter Raleigh for shipping Tobacco to the Old World for profit. It’s hard to say where this might end; that’s the nature of silliness.

Take a good, hard look at the likes of Walter Williams and Thomas Sowell, and meditate on how they made it so big, on their own, without any Democrat sugar-daddy. Think of all the black American self-made millionaires, more than in any other country on earth. The notion that anyone cannot make it here without government help or an extra boost is an insidious, destructive lie.

Let’s recognize each other as equal before the law and equal before God, and get on with life. We will all benefit, economically and otherwise, from treating each other as cooperators rather than antagonists.

It’s not your ancestry; it’s whatever animates you and gives your life meaning, purpose and direction that is most important, to you, to your family, to your neighbors and to your country.

The reason people are leaving the Church is because my Catholic religion has decided one thing is important and only one. Abortion is wrong so they sided with President Bush and the GOP and they forgot about separation of church and state. They chose a man who started a war so that unlike his father he swore he get re-elected somehow to another term and he set up Iraq on the 2nd day of his presidency by declaring to this staff he wanted a war with Sadam for any reason because Sadam had tried to assassinate his father in Kuwait during Clinton's years in office.

But the church did not look at the fact that Bush still leads modern man at executing people in Texas in jail. That's ok? He and GOP don't care about poor people only rich and that's ok with the church because if their people had a lot of money they wouldn't give it to the church at Mass, because the GOP mostly don't go to Catholic Churches, they do others but not the Catholic church. NO, basically poor people contribute to the church and they are the ones that the Church needs to keep the thumb down on. Al Gore, Kerry and others had to listen to the Bush's and have they paid for in blood. Illegal wars and remember, Bush himself went AWOL and skipped a flight physical that would have sent him to Vietnam but instead went Florida and worked on a campaign for his fathers friend. Anyone else would have been court-martialed. Ask Dan Rather, he lost his job when he tried to report that to the American people and they blew him out of the water. Good job by the Church again.

I have always attended Mass every weekend and the Holy Days still. See, it's my Church not theirs.

They make awful decisions but I do know that when I get to heaven I don't plan on seeing many of the high priest of the church there. Most are having their heaven hear on earth.

Do you want to fill the churches again. Give to God what is Gods and give to the state what belongs to the state. They choose a person or a party and they should then be taxed for their support.

I believe from now on when the Catholic Church steps into debate for a party or person even because of abortion or any other reasons, let them stay clear or since they are in their own way governing, let the land that the churches, rectories, convents and any Catholic offices are held, they all should pay the taxes that corporations pay. Then I think they would stop getting involved in politics and get back to Jesus.

You lost Europe when you got between the people and the governments and your doing it also in America. Give me my church back.

And about Obama. You all racists. Give the man a chance. In less than 3 months he was put down as the worst president and the Bush years didn't matter. I don't believe this blog or any others should be found on a Catholic place but I read the crap above and it made me mad to realize that my Church is going the way of the dogs. In 3 more years, vote him out you racists. And this from a full Irish American who was born and raised in Boston and the Catholic Church. See how long this blog stays. To the leaders of my church remember, Christ placed St. Peter in the lowest part of the church as he did by washing the feet of his apostles, now it's still the same, the Pope, Cardinals, Bishop, Priest, Religious, are all in the lowest part of the Church, down stairs in the basement and when done correctly the people are above them being served. Many in the Church think the Pope is the top guy so it's the Pope on top and it trickles down. If you feel this way my religious people, I don't think Christ will recognize you when you get to judgment day. Our previous Pope got that. When asked by President Reagan if he could have his private phone number, he told him he didn't have a phone. He only had a small altar, kneeler, bed, desk and chair and usually slept on the floor because he felt that was the place for a Pope knowing many of his people in the world didn't have a bed so why should he. Now that is what a Saint sound like to me. Yes, he did go along with Bush, but he was fed more lies than truths on that one. He hated being on the sides of governments because he learned that most governments in his life time didn't treat the people well. And what about Fr. Drian. He was told stay in office or be a priest. No mincing words on that idea but go ahead keep voting for the people in charge for what ever reasons. If you want abortion out of America, first pray, get your priests and people to pray and don't mention which nut case running for office is in favor. If you do this, you will win the support of good people but these days we see vitriol hate coming from our clergy and it's just not correct. God Bless YOU, as I do. Remember one last thing, any man who is priest today should remember the most important thing about your life, you represent Jesus to us, What Would Jesus Do? Did he ever mutter the words to anyone to help one person over another. Even a poor woman of the night he told them he without sin cast the next stone. Priests of my Catholic Church, put down your rocks you are ruining my church. Europe, it might be too late, but America, the clock is ticking.

The end to this bible, sorry.

Well well.

I’m afraid your mal-education is showing. You have been thoroughly duped by the purposeful disinformation efforts of a predominantly Marxist education system, the current Marxist-dominated Democrat Party and our Marxist dominated SLIMC.

If you think the Holy Roman Catholic Church opposes one thing and one thing only, then I’m afraid your proper catechesis in the faith you claim is sadly lacking, and I wonder about the church you attend, or if indeed your really attend at all. I am tempted to claim that there may be nothing this President and his entire Party champions today that the Catholic Church does not virulently oppose. If you support such things as abortion, homosexuality, contraception, etc., then do not sacrilegiously approach the Communion Rail, drop the phony charade and stop pretending to be Catholic.

Regarding President Bush, perhaps you should read the Bush Lied, People Died entry to see the Marxist-Democrat source of the “lies” of Bush, as hammered and hammered by the thoroughly Marxist-controlled SLIMC. Bush never went AWOL; that’s another typical SLIMC lie. Real history is a very hard thing to kill.

Our American Constitution, Amendment I, placed two restrictions on Congress and none on anyone else regarding religion. The Catholic Church in America is just as free as anyone else to speak out and to electioneer and to vote and to support or oppose any candidate, issue, Party or platform as any other American citizen or corporate entity. We refuted the invalid separation argument in our own Separation of Church and State argument.

Obama’s own written and spoken words clearly identify him as a Marxist, following in the footsteps of past Marxist leaders such as Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Mao, Ho, Pol Pot, etc., who represent history’s bloodiest butchers, mass murderers, and most ruthless dictators. If that is the sort of thing you love, then stop pretending to love the Constitutional America that Marxism directly opposes and seeks to destroy, and admit your own Anti-American commitment. If this article on Obama got your shorts in a knot, go read Deliverance from Evil; that ought to really light your fire.

Never heard of Fr. Drian; don’t know who that is.

I hate to break it to you, Bernie B., but the people are already being motivated and animated by the anti-Christian, anti-religion, anti-morality, anti-Constitutional, anti-citizen voice, completely un-representative, totolitarian Marxism of this sitting government. If in your eyes opposing a black Marxist makes us racist, well, so be it. I suppose if Obama were white, we would be reverse racists, i.e., racist against our own race. Except for those of us who are black. Sorry, Bernie B., but it’s just not that simple.

You really need to wake up and smell the coffee. There are just so many ways you are wrong here I don’t know how to address them all. It is not your Church; it is His Church; He and He alone makes the rules. You have nothing to say about it. As for “When I get to Heaven … “ – I really hate to break it to you, Bernie, but from what I’ve read of your output so far, when you get to your just reward you won’t notice who’s around you, and they won’t notice you, because you and they will be to busy and preoccupied with all the constant personal screaming, pain and suffering.

Regards,

Vic
