Mainstream Media Lies And Liars

Even when you recognize America's SLIMC for what it is, the mainstream media lies and liars never fail to surprise. Once in awhile events come together to cause a flood or torrent of Leftist media lies all told in rapid succession, and this certainly appears to be one of those times. The current motivator seems to be the approaching mid-term elections and growing Leftist fears that their Democratic Party may not win a majority of seats in Congress as predicted.
We have MSNBC's liar-in-chief Keith Olbermann purposely short-quoting and miss-representing President Bush's words for the benefit of the semi-literate and the intellectually challenged, for instance. Bush's out-of-context words: It's unacceptable to think that there's any kind of comparison between the behavior of the United States of America and the action of Islamic extremists who kill innocent women and children to achieve an objective. Olbermann's characterization: "'It's unacceptable to think.' Sounds like something straight out of George Orwell's 1984. Instead, it was something straight out of George Bush's mouth." indicating that our President was daring to tell us what to think.
Replace the word "unacceptable" with "ridiculous" or "ludicrous" and you get the drift of what the President was saying. Comparing either Americans or American leadership or American goals to the murderous nature, current leadership and goals of Islam is preposterous, or, as the President quite correctly put it, unacceptable, to anyone with half a brain. Olbermann either isn't smart enough to figure that out, or he hopes you are not smart enough to figure that out. So he's either a semi-literate dumb-ass or he's an evil deceiver; you decide.
We have CNN "reporter" Bill Schneider practically foaming at the mouth because gas prices are dropping before the mid term elections, and implying that demonic "Big Oil" and diabolical "Republican Interests" are conspiring to lower prices for political reasons. The sole, solitary "expert" he refers to is a Nader disciple - you'll remember Ralph Nader as coming in second in the Nuttiest Lefty competition, behind Paul Ehrlich. The evidence shown: None. There is none. The SLIMC just makes the news up as it goes along. Go to the Eco-Nazism page to see how world oil prices are determined and how they've behaved over history; go to your TV or to your newspaper to see the apocalyptic fantasies of the SLIMC on the matter.
I'm still waiting to see which "reporter" will be first to point out that the lack of hurricanes so far this season is solely due to some Right Wing plot, and as soon as the mid-term election is over, Bush will probably call in the storms, and then personally blow up a whole lot more levees, just like he did last time.
We have CBS's Katie Couric asserting "At the top of tonight's news briefing, a who's who of President Bush's adversaries on the world stage all together in one place. Venezuela's Hugo Chavez and Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are among the leaders in Havana for the meeting of the non-aligned nations. Raul Castro is playing host. His older brother, Fidel, is still recovering from intestinal surgery." indicating that these are not America's enemies, but President Bush's enemies. Which puts Katie, CBS, the rest of the SLIMC and the Democratic Party solidly in Castro's Communist corner, where I always knew they belonged, and in close fellowship with all of Bush's other enemies. Note that she and they really don't see themselves as America's enemies, but rather as America's Revolutionary Reformers and eventual Socialist saviors.
We have the silent death of the Plamegate afair; the SLIMC would rather not talk about it, after having beaten it half to death over months and months of over-reporting it. Joe Wilson's flagrant lies about Bush's administration having it in for him and leaking his wife's name, which he had published on his website, although she wasn't really under cover and no crime was committed either way, but he and she lied and squealed and sued and did interviews and made money, and on, and on, and on. Rove did it; Libey did it; Cheney did it; the President is implicated; a prosecutor, who knew all along who did it, and that nothing illegal was done, still sought to put someone from the Republican camp in prison via the scrutinized and re-scrutinized detailed testimony on different dates to get someone into a political imperfect-memory-of-previous-testimony-perjury charge.
When it turns out that an assistant to mildly anti-Bush Collin Powell was the source of the non-criminal leak, well, then, of course, there's no story here. Let's just move on to other news. Some lives have been destroyed, but, hey, you can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs, right? And let's just drop the original Wilson categorical lie regarding his own report, in that Iraq did indeed seek uranium just exactly as the President said; that's old news now, and there's lots of other anti-Bush stuff that needs more attention, quick, before the mid-term elections.
The current Islamic uproar over the learned address of Benedict XVI, in German, to a gathering of German professors at a German University, points up mostly lies of omission and commission by most major representatives of the faith of Islam, lies which, for the most part, are strongly supported by the SLIMC. Of important note is the fact that none of the Moslems or news commentators who are publicly commenting on the matter have read the full context of what the Pope said, in German, to a scholarly audience of professors. It's highly doubtful that the world has read any full Arabic or English or any other translation of his remarks. Only one sentence has been translated and delivered up in a most inflammatory way.
"The emperor comes to speak about the issue of jihad, holy war," the Pope said. "He said, I quote, 'Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached."'
This was a direct quote of a 14th century Byzantine Emperor, not a Pope, exactly as it exists in the historical record. Is no scholar ever to be allowed to read that particular historical quote out loud? How about reading it silently? Is history to be allowed to continue to exist, and if so, if we cannot refer to it, then why is history to be allowed to continue to exist? How about all the other history that is far, far more damning of Islam - are we to set ourselves the task of destroying or censoring true history just for the sake of Islamic super-sensitivity?
The typical media report referred to the Pope's gaffe or his insensitive remarks; they refer to his apology as actually applying to what he had quoted, rather than to his pain at how Islam had reacted to the quote. Islamic leaders and the media call for further apologies, with multiple Islamic calls for the Pope's death. The irony escapes the media completely. An innocent nun is murdered in Africa due to some Moslem(s) taking exception to the scholarly remarks of a Pope to an audience of professors. This is quite typical of Islam, yet, it is not reported that way; to the media, the Pope, and, by extension, the Church is at fault for the death of the nun.
Why? Well, because, as everybody knows, Islam is a religion of peace.
And, predictably, Moslem clerics are brought on live TV to tell us precisely that. Invariably, they call for further apologies from the Pope, because his apology is not enough, and they gently imply that all the issued death sentences are perhaps a bit too strong, and if the Pope will fall down in submission, he should be allowed to continue to live. One that I heard closed his remarks with the statement that the word Islam, in Arabic, translates to Peace in English. And I suppose that's probably true enough.
However, it refers to one of the two domains or houses of Islam, known as Dar Al-Islam, or the House Of Peace. We don't live there. All us un-believers live in the other domain, which is Dar Al-Harb, or, literally, the House Of War. Here, where we reign, Islam is not a religion of peace; it is a religion of war.
Look at the Islam and the Jews page for more information.
Completely lost on the media are the very simple questions regarding the Truth of the matter under consideration. Did the Emperor actually say those words. Did Mohammed actually call for conversion of the world by the sword. Does the Koran actually say that Moslems are to make war against us until no other religion exists except Islam in 2:139; 8:39; 9:29. These are all very simple yes-or-no questions.
Completely lost on Islam is the fact that the Pope is not afraid to die. Lots and lots of Popes have been murdered and martyred; why should this one be any different? He is ready. There will be other Popes. The Church cannot be destroyed. Even the gates of Hell will not prevail against it, for He is with us until the end of the age. These things I do not say on my own; they are written in The Book that Islam falsely claims to be "a people" of, but which, obviously, none of them have ever even read.
And of course, we have the nearly daily repeated lie regarding how getting us into Iraq was exclusively Bush's plan, and due exclusively to his "illegal" and "deceptive" actions. Now, we have the words of virtually every single Democratic opponent of the Iraq war recommending the Iraq war in quite strong terms, many of them directly quoted in the Bush Lied People Died article, and yet the various members of the SLIMC will again and again refer to it as "Bush's War" or infer that Bush somehow got us into the Iraq war all on his own, with no outside help from anyone, especially any of them, or any other Democratic Party big shots.
Take your news with a grain of salt. You cannot depend on your network news or your big-time newspapers or even your local news to give you the straight, unbiased news, as real news. Everything you hear from the SLIMC has a Leftist spin on it, at least, and it may even be completely false. There is another agenda at work here.
Keep your eye on the Truth.
Seek the Truth; find the Way; live the Life.
