Israel goes to war again

I really have a lot of WebPages left to update, and this is detracting from that on-going work. However, there is just so much going on in the world that I feel compelled to comment on what I see as the most important aspects of the major current events. Top of that list is the new Israeli war, imposed on Israel by the screwball Islamic group Hamas in Gaza, and the screwball Isslamic group Hizballah in Lebanon.

Question: What's the difference between Hamas and Hizballah?

Answer: Nothing whatsoever. Other than different leaders.

Both of them want to see all the Jews dead, and the nation of Israel destroyed. Which coincides with what the governments and spokesmen of Syria and Iran want. In fact, most Middle-Eastern Moslems, both citizens and governments, would like to see present day Israel occupied by non-Christian, non-Jewish, strictly Islamic Palestinians, after all the Jews in Israel are dead. Iran, however, would not mind turning the whole area into a barren, uninhabitable, radioactive wasteland.

(And note this very well: the relationship between Gaza and Hamas is no different than the relationship between Hizballah and Lebanon, which is no different than was the relationship between the Talliban and Al Qaeda.)

So, on the one side, the public, clear, long-term strategic goal is the elimination of a nation and the death of all its citizens. And on the other side, the public, clear, long-term strategic goal is survival of the nation and protection of the citizens. Using the well tested ethos born of Western Civilization, it should therefore be pretty easy to determine the moral side of this argument, right?

So how come we have so many in this country, and in so many other so-called Western countries, and in the UN, who criticize the USA for being "too strong" in our supportive position toward Israel, and recommend that we should "consider opposing viewpoints" and even be ready to "compromise" on this, primarily, Arabic-Israeli dichotomy?

Well what, exactly, would such a compromise look like? Maybe just half the Jews dead? Maybe just half of a sovereign nation occupied by people who want all the rest of them dead?

First of all, it isn't any Arabic-Israeli dichotomy; it's an Islamic-Jewish dichotomy. And, if the Moslems ever get their wish, and all the Jews are killed, it will transform into an Islamic-everybody-else dichotomy. In point of fact, if you read the Koran, you will see that Islam has already declared war on everybody else; everybody else just doesn’t know it yet. Islam does know it. How could any practicing Christian, which most of us happen to be, and which most of our representatives publicly claim to be, even begin to consider aiding the Moslems in their constant, never ending, publicly declared, uncompromising, merciless, war to the death with Israel? How could we not come to the aid of Israel, if need be? If we allowed them all to be massacred, how then could we ever look in the mirror again? What, exactly, would we say on Judgment Day? I'm sorry? I repent? Would it not be just a tad bit too late?

How did we ever get to this point?

We have with us today a new Liberalism, or, a new Left, arising from old Marxist seeds planted long ago, but not tended, and not cultivated, but allowed to grow completely wild.

In the Marxism page I spoke of the great cloud of depression that settled on the International Communist Movement, ranging from disappointment to near despondency, over the multiple massive failures of Communist revolutions during the period between the two great wars. The one and only semi-success, in Russia, was having to go it alone, desperately fighting for its own very survival, and could hardly call itself an international movement. Yet. The problem was that most people did not view themselves as particularly oppressed, and were not upset enough about anything to revolt. Only in Germany, where the rising Hitler ranted on about his unique Nationalist variant of Marxism, through his rising Nazi (National Socialist Workers) Party, did any form of Socialism appear to be gaining any ground at all. ["Basically National Socialism and Marxism are the same." -Adolph Hitler, public speech, February 1942.]

This was the period during which the Internationalist strategy changed, from immediate revolution, to preparing the ground for future revolution. The straw villain Authoritarian Personality was invented, in order to publicly ridicule and demonize authoritarian father, authoritarian patriarchal family, authoritarian religion, authoritarian government, even authoritarian culture, or the ethos supporting it. This was, of course, monumental hypocrisy, since Marxism, representing the notion of the completely planned and controlled society, as far and away the most authoritarian entity ever even imagined, sought to alienate everyone against the notion of authority.

Nevertheless, as was described in the Modernist Heresy page, Fromm and Maslow greatly popularized their visionary Revolutionary Man in the eyes of America's children and educators. This was the hero-to-the-rescue from the threat of their evil straw-man Authoritarian Man. And this is their description of him:

The Revolutionary is the man who has emancipated himself from ties of blood and soil, from his mother and his father, from special loyalties to state, class, race, party, or religion.

Partially in the aforementioned page and partially in the Homo-Nazism page I addressed John Dewey, the educator of the educators, who introduced Humanism into educational curricula in public schools, and the beginnings of OBE, or Outcome Based Education, and its goal of radical change of all of culture over time, through education of teachers and students.

All these chickens are coming home to roost.

Economists and philosophers such as Hayek and Mises spoke of American and English students who studied in Europe during the thirties and forties, who then came home, and knew that they were Marxists, but couldn't identify the variety that they were. They had to call old professors or other contacts to discuss it; they didn't know if they were Communists (Bolsheviks) or Nazis or Fascists. All they knew for certain was that they were adamantly against Capitalism. This is an important point: they didn't even know what they stood for, but they knew with absolute certainty what they were against. Which was the status quo. That was the beginning of the formal education of students into what to think, rather than in how to think. I submit that that situation is considerably worse today.

Bishop Sheen observed that people think that if someone is made into an atheist, that he will believe in nothing. But this is wrong. He will believe in anything. Once a young man has been thoroughly alienated from family and religion and nation, he is an easy recruit for anything, including Islam, or Satanism, or Zombie-Punk piercings and tattoos, or dope, or a life of crime. But not the status quo. That specific condition was the condition planned and intended by the original Internationalist revolutionaries who started this ball rolling so long ago. Unfortunately, their Revolutionary Man, for the most part, doesn't even know what Communism is, although he might even call himself a Communist.

He's just unhappy. Unsatisfied. Just like an ion, an unbalance atom, which is in an unstable state, he will do something.

American support for America's enemies

The demented Looney-Tune in charge of North Korea, Kim Il Sung, supposedly in current possession of multiple nuclear bombs, defies the world and fires multiple fizzles into the sea. Excuse me, did I say fizzles? I meant missiles. The problem is, if he fires enough of them, one of them might eventually work. And he's definitely nuts enough to fire a nuclear shot at somebody.

Meanwhile, the war in Iraq has taken a turn for the worse, in that we are now seeing what may be previously non-terrorists, non-combatants among the Shiites, forming death squads to kill, not terrorists, but Sunnis, in retaliation/retribution/revenge for terrorist action against Shiite targets. Which must be very pleasing to our SLIMC and to Al Qaeda, who have been working so hard and diligently to turn the whole thing into a civil war and eliminate the new Democracy in Iraq.

So then, on top of all of this, shortly after a Terrorist Summit held in Syria, Hamas does a murderous military raid from Gaza into Israel and kidnaps a soldier. Then, Hizzbalah does a murderous military raid from Lebanon into Israel and kidnaps two more. Israel's response, of course, was immediate, and so was seemingly everybody's condemnation of the response. "Israel is attacking civilians" is the screaming complaint, even as Russian developed and Iranian supplied Katyusha rockets sail into Israel killing civilians. "The response is all out of proportion" is the complaint from countries that would have responded far more severely if any neighboring country had dared to do the same thing to them. Except maybe France, who keeps multiple strategically located stockpiles of white flags ready for any such event.

And what do we hear from our SLIMC, which exists as the primary voice of the Revolutionary Man? Pretty much the same advice as from Russia, and China, and France. All parties should cease fire immediately. The UN should send an official Tut Tut letter, or even a Now Now letter to all parties concerned.

Israel should ignore all of this advice and kick ass, in a very serious way. Survival is at stake here. And we should support Israel in every way that we can, whether anyone else likes it or not, because it is the right thing to do. If it leads into Iran, or into Syria, or into both of them, then so be it. If it goes wider than that, so be it.

And we need to pay close attention to our home-grown Revolutionary Men and their breeding ground in our educational establishment. From this quarter will come the home-grown converts to Islam, and home-grown Al Qaeda Cells, and people who support North Korea, and people who absolutely despise our military, and people who will always work against any American victory, anywhere. These enemies from within will not come out of the highly publicized and SLIMC-demonized Religious Right, but rather, out of the completely ignored and SLIMC-championed Anti-Religious Left.

Consider this to be fair warning.

What the SLIMC will never show you

In America today, you will see, on broadcast and print media, "art" that insults and even blasphemes Christianity, "humor" that scorns and ridicules the most deeply held religious beliefs of the majority, TV Sit-Coms in which treatment of Christian practices run the gamut from being trivialized to condemned. But you will never, never, see the same treatment, by the SLIMC, of Islam. Indeed, they will fall all over themselves insisting that Islam is a religion of peace.

Yeah, right.

Let me show you what they religiously censor here, besides Judao-Christian religious expression in the public square. You remember the cartoons of Mohammed, first published in some Scandinavian newspaper, which started blood thirsty riots in the Middle East? Did Jesus support violence or coercion? No. Did he kill anyone or support the killing of anyone? No. So why did Catholics support wars, mass killings, executions and violence in God's name from his death, up till this very day? Because of history and because of humanity.

Islam as much as any other religion proclaims itself to be the one and only true faith. It preaches peace and it preaches war, as much as the bible does. The bible holds versus such as "The Lord is a man of war" and the like whilst it holds the peaceful teachings of Jesus and prophets who sought for true followers of God to sacrifice themselves before violently reacting to others. The Koran does quite the same. If you have read the book, which is filled with as much beautiful poetry of the power and majesty of God as the Bible, it preaches the need for peace and the sanctity of life. However, at the same time it contains a number of verses which argue for the need for violent persuasion.

To judge Islam in this sense, one must also judge other religions in the same way. To take examples of Sharia law from deprived countries of the Middle East is stupid.

A historical analyst or some one with logic would tell you that the teachings of Jesus and the Church were embedded in society in Europe during the Middle Ages and industrial age in the same way that Islam is being practiced in the Middle East. In Europe, over time and bloodshed, it has led to secular views and culture, similarly Islam has done the same through modernization and industrialization through the age of reason, in places like Turkey which you mentioned.

Religious equality and freedom must be respected and upheld for non-Catholics so that Catholics themselves can practice their own beliefs. If Catholics started to delve deeper into their faith I'm sure that a few of them would turn into psychopathic killers as well, which some have.

You also need to add a few more notable Muslims to your list.

I'd also love to know how you perceive Saladin not to be a general hero of history, as well as an intelligent and devout Muslim.

I’m not sure how to respond to all of this.

Re your first paragraph: Catholics support mass killings? Excuse me? Because of history? Because of humanity? Huh?

Re your second paragraph: If you truly believe that all religions are kind-of sort-of equal, and we all ought to be more inclusive and tolerant of everything, then your understanding of religion - any religion – is quite shallow and superficial, and your trust in foreign cultures displays a potentially suicidal stupidity.

Re your third paragraph, the only real way you could judge Sharia in the practical world would be to examine it where it is practiced, which would be in Iran, among the Taliban, among the Al Queda, etc. Democratic or Socialist or despotic lands with secular government do not count, because any form of government other than Sharia is against the religion of Islam. See the Islam Is The Enemy page, the Islam Opposes America page, and others in that neighborhood.

Matt, I don’t know where you got your education or where you learned your Catechism, but I’ve got some bad news for you. First, all religions are not the same. Second, all religions are not willing to grant you the same freedom of choice that you are willing to grant them.

I don’t know how Australians see things, but we Americans, for the most part, and admittedly with many exceptions, are individualists who cherish our liberty and ability to take care of ourselves. That involves free will, and the responsibility of making good decisions. We prefer liberty to dependence, and we cherish independence so much that we will fight for it.

Lots of people in the world disagree with that position, and that’s why there is such a thing as politics, and why politics are, definitively, divisive and not inclusive. People have to choose sides on important issues. That’s just the way it is.

If you just want to sit around a friendly fire and roast marshmallows with all the people of the world in a wonderful grand community-fest, sooner or later one of the following is going to happen to you, almost by default, with no resistance.

Some Marxist petty bureaucrat will tell you to shut up and get on the cattle car.

Or, some Moslem will either collect a special infidel tax from you, or remove your head.

Why speak down on another religion when you have not picked up their holy book and read all one-thousand some pages of it? Religion critics bother me fore the sole reason that most of them do not even read and study the book that they are attacking. I am not Muslim myself, but I know that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. Does that mean 2.1 billion people on this planet are following a "false ideology"? Or even better, 2.1 billion people are following a "false ideology" that supports murder? We learned in our World View 101 class that Prophet Muhammad was being attacked. He never declared war. War was declared on him. The only time violence was conducted was for self-defense. Just my opinion on the topic.

Apparently I have read more of their “one-thousand some pages of it” than you have; more importantly, I have understood what it had to say better than you have. When someone tells me they intend to either convert me, subjugate me or kill me, I take them at their word. That is what Islam says it intends to do to you and to me. Not some particular Moslem, mind you – that is a commandment of the prophet Mohammed, issued to all of his disciples, recorded for all time in the Koran. No true religion of God orders its followers to do such things to other people. That is the final rule of Islam: convert the world, subjugate the world, or wipe out the non-Islamic world.

Read the Refuting Mohammed page, page and any or all of the pages linked in the right-hand column of that page for quotes. Don’t just take my word for it. Go to Koran Browse and look up the verses yourself, and see if I have misrepresented, misinterpreted or taken Mohammed out of context.

The first thing Mohammed did after he began his “religion” in Medina was to begin attacks on those who did not follow him, and to just kill Jews. The whole history of Islam was of direct military conquest, right up until the tide turned against them in Europe and they went into retreat mode. Thomas Jefferson warned us about the Islamic menace some 200 years ago, but America has already forgotten. Western man has been mesmerized, hypnotized, bamboozled and entranced by Islam’s false “religion of peace” mantra. Islam has learned from Marxism and gone underground in its war strategy.

Marxism changed largely from open revolution to slow subversion from inside. Islam now uses the same approach, pretending to be peaceable and increasing control of neighborhoods until ready for takeover, from both inside and outside. Every time any Islamic national army or alliance of armies takes to the field, they get their asses kicked bad. It has proved better and easier to overpopulate areas and support terrorists until powerful enough to take over.

Beware, Boy. Islam is a resting venomous snake.
