Regarding US Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) –
This giant bureaucracy was born in the heat of the aftermath of the sneak attack by Islam on America on September 11, 2001. In retrospect, it may be seen that any time an emergency occurs the first thing that comes into the minds of all big-government aficionados is a new bureaucracy of some kind. As if there were nothing already in place that could cover the new contingencies in question. This is the knee-jerk reactive notion that insists on solving all new big problems with big government growth and another migration of power from the people to the government. It is always supported by the similar non-thinking reaction that says do something, anything, even if it’s wrong; just do it, and do it quickly!

None of us anticipated or predicted foreign Moslems sneaking into America under false pretenses, learning to fly airliners, high-jacking loaded American passenger planes and then suicidally flying them straight into American target buildings in order to kill and terrorize just as many of us as possible, injure our governing and defense capability and our economy as much as possible.

Granted. We were all surprised.

We are not as likely to be so surprised again by any such horrors coming out of Islam. There was no need to create another behemoth bureaucracy when a newly awakened department of Defense, CIA and FBI were already in place, and all they needed to do was to come to terms with a completely new variety of national threat not previously anticipated.

The sneak attack of 09/11/01 was just a new tactic of an enemy whose long term strategy was and is to convert us, dominate us or destroy us. Our established armed forces and intelligence forces with the mission to defend America against naked aggression were already in existence. What is needed is for those existing forces to develop new counter tactics and look in new directions for new contingencies.

To understand Islam and recognize it as a mortal enemy of America and a mortal enemy of the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, I strongly recommend that you read the Definition of Islam page, and the Refuting Mohammed page. All you have to do is look at the history of Islam, and look at it’s own guiding scripture, the Koran.

The “Religion of Peace” nature of Islam is a smoke screen; Islam is only peaceful in any neighborhood until it gains in numbers or gains some military advantage. The intention of Islam toward the non-Islamic world is this: Convert, Submit, or die. That’s it. Expansion into world domination is Islam’s whole purpose for being.

That has been the nature of Islam from its birth. Convert, submit, or die; those are your only three options. That’s why I say that the true definition of Islam is an ideology of military conquest masquerading as a religion. Again, you can see the details in the Refuting Mohammed page, and in the various articles linked in the right hand column of that page.

Jihadist Terrorism committed in the name of Islam is grossly misinterpreted throughout the world and in America as a deviation and a perversion of Islamic teaching and thought. But it is standard fare in the world of Islam. It is completely orthodox and mainstream. Most of the West has it exactly reversed; it is the truly peaceful Moslem who perverts or twists Islamic teaching. Moslems do not commit acts of terrorism against non-Moslems until they really get into their religion. The most peaceful Moslems are the least religious.

As an example, let’s compare the words of Osama Bin Laden with the words of the Koran:

Praise be to God, who revealed the Book, controls the clouds, defeats factionalism, and says in His Book: "But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them, seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war)"; and peace be upon our Prophet, Muhammad Bin-'Abdallah, who said: I have been sent with the sword between my hands to ensure that no one but God is worshipped, God who put my livelihood under the shadow of my spear and who inflicts humiliation and scorn on those who disobey my orders.
– Osama Bin Laden, from 1998 Fatwa declaring holy war on the West and Israel.

So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
– Koran Sura 9:5.

And fight with them until there is no persecution, and religion should be only for Allah, but if they desist, then there should be no hostility except against the oppressors.
– Koran Sura 2:193.

And fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah; but if they desist, then surely Allah sees what they do.
– Koran Sura 8:39.

Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.
– Koran Sura 9:29.

In America as in any nation that believes in such taken-for-granted notions as citizen liberty and/or national sovereignty and/or national self-determination, a true definition of Islam should clearly state that Islam opposes liberty, and freedom of religion, and freedom of speech, and freedom of the press, as these things address Islam, Mohammed and the Koran. And a true definition of Islam should clearly state that Islam opposes and intends to eliminate such things as nations, borders and self-determination, of individuals and of nations. An honest definition of Islam would state that Islam, like Marxism, seeks to form a New World Order, and to rule the world with an iron fist. That is the core, central idea of Islam.

Now, just about everybody describes Osama Bin Laden as the preeminent example of one who epitomizes what is described as Islamic Extremism, or Jihadism, or Militant Islamism, or Perverted Islam, or Hijacked Islam, or Islamofascism, or some such pejorative term, indicating that it is not the correct Islam, which is a religion of peace. I submit for your consideration the statement that there is not one whit of difference between what Osama Bin Laden did, after issuing fair warning, that is not in absolute full compliance with the Koran. And, I submit that, within Islam, the Koran is held to be the irrevocable word of God spoken through his prophet Mohammed. All Moslems are called by the Koran to do these things.

Dar Al-Islam Versus Dar Al-Harb. Dar Al-Islam is the House of Islam, meaning, the House of Submission. That is where everyone is in submission to Islamic religion and Islamic law, and the only place where there is peace and where Allah is merciful. Dar Al-Harb is the House of War. That is where we infidels (non-Moslems) live. The whole goal of Islam is to expand the House of Islam at the expense of the House of War.

The ultimate goal of Islam is global domination. Islam is a theocracy; a radical combination of Church and State. The global goal of men like Osama Bin Laden is to bring the whole world into submission to the Islamic religion and Islamic law, or Sharia. That is the long term strategy; terrorism is merely a tactic.

Be all that as it may, as a direct result of the attacks of 9/11/01 the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was brought into being and given extraordinary governmental scope and power, which keeps changing, expanding and growing. Here is a snapshot picture of the organization, which, of course, cannot be accurate even from one day to the next, because of the continuing expansion and ongoing changes.

The TSA, by formal order, does not apply and indeed studiously avoids offender profiling, forensic profiling or any other attempt to pre-identify the Moslem Jihadist enemies of America in the passenger screening process. Instead, by direct order, they begin with the incredibly stupid assumption that everyone – every American citizen – is in fact a Moslem Jihadist, and guilty until proven innocent. The only profiling done at all by the TSA is to exempt Moslems from the screening, despite the fact that all Jihadists are Moslems, without exception. This is a suicidal stupidity. It is a clear attempt to desensitize and to train the innocent and naive American citizenry and get them used to being herded and directed by petty bureaucrats, minor officials and administrators.

It is a movement from self-governance to government by administration. Herding, in other words. Becoming sheep.

The citizen is supposed to be the sovereign here, and the government is supposed to be the servant of the people. But, growing and expanding government power in general, and growing and expanding bureaucracy in particular, always, always acts to migrate governing power from the people to the government.

And, Marxism always, always seeks to centralize power so that all of that centralized power eventually may be easier to be ceased by someone ruthless enough to cease it. I submit that the Democrat Party, like the SLIMC, is dominated by Marxist philosophy, and that the establishment Republican Party is certainly not free of it. Whether these officials and big-time journalists are merely some level of useful idiot Marxists or actual revolutionary conspirators is not as important as the fact that they will always act together to grow the government at the slightest excuse, and to always show the emergency government growth action in the best possible public light. Government knows best.

Cut the whole damned department. We already had resources in place to handle the Jihadist threat; all that was needed was, primarily, a redirection of attention and some minor reorganizations, such as beefing up the Coast Guard, beefing up military police training in the other branches of the military, and the use of profiling as is done in Israel. Any existing legislated laws prohibiting profiling must be modified or repealed. To not pay special attention to Moslems when trying to identify Moslem Jihadists is just plain stupid.

How to do it; that is the question.

Purging the System. I submit that there is nothing in Marxism and nothing in Islam that is compatible with and not antagonistic to America’s Declaration of Independence and the American Constitution. Marxism and Islam are open, sworn enemies of the very idea of America, and they have been so since birth. In Islam’s case, Islam opposed America long before America even existed. In Marxism’s case, Marxism opposed America since Marxism gained popular recognition in 1848.

First, we must purify the existing system of Marxists and Moslems who cannot truthfully take any oath of office that involves protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States, because their ideology or their religion directly opposes the Constitution of the United States, and in fact calls for it’s destruction. That is to say that all Marxists and all Moslems must be recognized as enemies of the Constitution of the United States. Any member of the American armed forces, any member of any police organization, any elected or appointed office holder who had to take an oath to protect the Constitution, swore a false oath of office if he is a Marxist or a Moslem.

All you have to do to see that this is true is read Marx’s greatest work, the Communist Manifesto, to see that Marxism stands opposed to everything America stands for. All you have to do is read Islam’s holy book, the Koran, to see that Islam stands opposed to everything America stands for. Any Marxist, and any Moslem, who ever took an American oath of office took it falsely. Both Marxism and Islam intend the destruction of America as founded and constituted. That is the nature of Marxism and that is the nature of Islam. No Marxist and no Moslem should hold any security clearance, or any position in elected office, or be a member of the American armed forces, or a member of any American police or security organization. This is especially true of the Secret Service, the FBI and the CIA.

Current TSA rules notwithstanding, I submit that a much greater threat is posed to American national existence by American sitting government officials than by the American populace at large.

Reorganizing. First, regarding “screening” air travelers, controlling borders and stopping illegal entry by potential enemies of America:

It seems logical that the organization that should be best able to take command of American “homeland” security is the American Coast Guard. The Coast Guard is the only American armed force that has, in equal parts, war fighting capability and police capability. They already act in a police role in American waters; they already have the police training required to interact with American citizens and with foreigners in law enforcement and legal issues.

The Coast Guard should be elevated to the exact same level and status as the Army, the Navy and the Air Force. The Border Patrol and all immigration functions should be brought under the control of the Coast Guard. Migration should remain under State. Trained Coast Guardsmen should replace the TSA people in American airports. Their ranks could be supplemented by trained military police from the other military branches after supplemental training in civilian police work. Heavy use of forensic profiling as is done in Israel should replace pat-downs and x-rays. Extraordinary searching should be restricted to highly suspicious individuals who stand out in some way.

A major part of the new mission would be to absolutely secure our borders, so that the only way foreigners may enter will be by the normal legal means. Thousands of people enter that way every single day. Illegal entry should become an extremely difficult and an extremely risky and dangerous venture.

Second, regarding seeking out the enemies of America, both in America and elsewhere:

I have always felt that the FBI and the CIA should be combined in one force with one director, with the same mission. The Secret Service should be moved back to Treasury where it belongs. Besides their current mission, the combined CIA/FBI should be tasked with using overt and covert methods to identify and root out enemies of America both in America and elsewhere. That includes criminals, members of criminal organizations, foreign enemies of America, and any person who intends to do harm to America or her citizens. The word “criminal” includes illegal aliens, who are indeed criminals by dint of having violated our laws.

The difficulty, at first, will involve rooting out enemies from America from within the ranks of the CIA/FBI itself. Then, it would have the not insignificant task of rooting out Marxists and Moslems from high political office and the American armed forces.

There has always been a question in my mind why such organizations as the BATF, DEA and others exist at all. We cannot wage war on “drugs” except here in the USA. A war on drugs makes about as much sense as no child left behind, or a war on climate change, or a war on poverty, all of which is nonsense. Man cannot successfully legislate the local weather, let alone the global climate, nor can man simply legislate poverty away. These organizations need to be eliminated entirely; but that will be addressed in future pages, like this one, which will be included in the right-column links of the Shut Down Unneeded Bureaucracy webpage. Any valuable human or forensic resources in these police organizations could be incorporated into the FBI/CIA before shutting the organizations down completely.

All the rest of DHS should be eliminated and cut from the budget. (Of course, we don’t really have a budget; we have not had a real budget since Comrade Obama (peace be upon him) took office.)

Once upon a time there was a senator named Joe McCarthy, and he held the McCarthy hearings, in which he charged that hundreds of Communists had infiltrated the highest levels of the American government. He famously waved, before the cameras, stacks of papers touted to be lists of revolutionaries and “sympathizers” in government, in academia, in education, in the news media and in major, big-league entertainment.

But, the government – with the Democrat Party in the lead – , the print and broadcast news media, leading academics and major, big-league entertainment, all united against him, and they made him look like a fool. They destroyed him; they shut him down and made him a laughing stock all over America, and in the larger world. “McCarthyism” became a term for a silly conspiratorial fool. It remains so today.

But then, the Soviet Union came crashing down. Some time after that, the Soviet archives were released, and the formerly secret files revealed – guess what – that senator Joe McCarthy was right, on all counts.

And the silence of the SLIMC was deafening.

I’ll bet you didn’t know that.

That was then; this is now, and here we are. Look around.

In short, the Communists everywhere support every revolutionary movement against the existing social and political order of things.

Finally, they labor everywhere for the union and agreement of the democratic parties of all countries.

The Communists disdain to conceal their views and aims. They openly declare that their ends can be attained only by the forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions. Let the ruling classes tremble at a communist revolution. The workers have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win.

WORKERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!

We have recommended that we should Outlaw Islam in America. If you think that would somehow be un-Constitutional, I invite you to examine the quoted words of Osama Bin Laden and the Koranic verses that back them up, as quoted earlier in this article.

I submit that Islam is not merely a religion like other religions; rather, it is an aggressive, belligerent and invasive theocracy whose ultimate goal is to subjugate and dominate the entire world. The Koran proves it. There is nothing Osama Bin Laden did that was not in complete accordance with Islamic theology, Islamic ideology and Islamic law. It is not the active Jihadists, but the peaceful Moslems, who are the poorest followers of the Islam Way; they have not yet learned that the Koran calls them to Jihad. Islam is a strategy of conquest and world domination masquerading as a religion of peace. It is not possible to be a good Moslem and not be an anti-American. Islam and America are absolutely incompatible; the core ideas of America are antithetical to Islam. Since the Teddy Roosevelt administration, at least, we have been steadily, inexorably moving away from our American foundational principles and into Marxism. Now, we have hit the point where we have an actual Marxist Revolutionary in the oval office. This is no mere Progressive, or Liberal, or even extreme Leftie. This is the real deal; if you doubt that, then permit me to refer you to the Refuting Obama page. The right-column contains links to all the evidences. Comrade Obama (peace be upon him) is a died-in-the-wool Marxist with a soft spot for islam.

Note well that Marxism and Islam are uniting in revolutions around the world at this very moment. It is not the first time in history that this has happened.

Beware.

Pray that nothing really big happens between now and November 2012. Both Marxism and Islam make their biggest advances through crisis; both Marxism and Islam provoke and promote crisis, which provides opportunity for radical change or even take-over.

The real battle here is between good and evil. Neutrality invites defeat.

This idea could be twisted to simply eliminate all political opposition. How do you differentiate between someone who is merely a liberal and someone who is a Marxist?

With care, of course; but you should carefully examine what it means today to be a Liberal. It doesn’t mean what it used to mean; today it is much more involved with political positions than with openness and objectivity.

Examine the Liberal’s political positions to see if they align with those of Marx.

If the political positions oppose God, religion, the family and parental authority, private property, private enterprise, a sphere of private activity beyond the scope and reach of government, etc. – and if it favors egalitarianism, collectivism, redistributionism, class-warfare, government control over products, prices, qualities, quantities, money, interest rates, etc., then it may be assumed that the position is Marxist.

If a man walks like a duck, and he talks like a duck, and he is constantly seen in the company of other ducks, it should be assumed that his is a duck.
